Inside Robert Pattinson's Wild Birthday Party!

Ted Casablanca's "The Awful Truth" has yet another article about the Rob Pattinson / Kristen Stewart romance. This time he has flirting updates from Rob Pattinson's 23rd birthday party at Glowbal Grill & Satay Bar in Vancouver.

As we're sure most of you already know (hell, we've been twittering in delicious anticipation 'bout it for ages), Robert Pattinson celebrated his 23rd B-day last night at Glowbal Grill & Satay Bar in Vancouver.

Helping him ring in his 23rd were friend Sam Bradley, his 'rents, costars like Ashley Greene and of course...a gal named Kristen Stewart.

Heard of her?

The gang arrived around 9:15 with Kobe beef meatballs already on the table (apparently those are Rob's fave). Cocktails started flowin', natch, and as R sipped on Peroni beer, Kristen downed some Glowbal champagne cocktails.

Onlookers tell us it seemed as if Robert and Kristen were both "special guests" of the night. Did you catch the quotes, babes? Everything, every mark of punctuation, every syllable in this clandestine love story is worth noting.

After din the whole group headed to AfterGlow, the lounge part of the restaurant, and the Robsten chemistry only seemed to heat up.

"They were beautiful together," spills our insider.

Love, love, love this! "They just have a unique bond," adds the Pattinson pal who works closely with R & K. "They are always just smiling and happy together."

And as for certain people's hopes that Pattz will wander astray while over in Cannes? Deep Twi 'fesses, "[Rob] is very shy and respectful. He is not a flirt without Kristen."

Pattz and Stewart did flirt it up all night, we're assured, even leaving the hip scene together, but it wasn't all smooth sailing.

After that, the Pattzparty started in on some celebratory shots (you expect carrot juice with this boy?) just before midnight—and then the fans found them. "They were crazy," dishes a fellow boozer. "No one could really help them out, so it was time to go."

That's when the whole crew called it a night.

Like we told you yesterday, Rob and Kristen are both shooting scenes up in Vancouver today. Hopefully they can get some more quality time in before Pattz jets off to France this weekend. Like tonight, perhaps?

Hugh Jackman Compliments Rob Pattinson

I guess by this time, you guys know already that Rob Pattinson will be working with Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman in “Unbound Captives." In Hugh's interview with People magazine, he compliments Rob Pattinson.

Now that he's conquered the box office with Wolverine, Jackman is set to star in the 19th-century drama Unbound Captives with Twilight's Robert Pattinson. "He's a really great actor and a really good guy," said Jackman. "His role is phenomenal and it's going to be really amazing stuff."

And what does he think about Pattinson's famous hair? "I'm not an aficionado of hair, but his looks great."

Robert Pattinson To Join Hugh Jackman & Rachel Weisz In ‘Unbound Captives’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Hugh Jackman and “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson are teaming up on screen in the period drama “Unbound Captives,” Variety reported on Wednesday.

The film is the directorial debut of Madeline Stowe, who wrote the script. She reportedly turned down a multi-million dollar deal for the film in 1993 after writing the film as a star vehicle for herself. Rachel Weisz will be playing that role now, the part of a woman whose husband is killed and her two children kidnapped. It is set in 1859.

Hugh is set to play the frontiersman who saves her, while Robert will play her son.

The novice director told the trade paper that Robert committed to the film before “Twilight” made him a star.

“Robert said yes last fall,” Madeline said. “Hugh said yes a couple of weeks ago. I saw three actresses, and knew after meeting with Rachel that she was the person I wanted to hand this role to.”

Madeline was reportedly offered $5 million for the script – an unheard-of sum for a first-time scribe – with Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe attached to direct and star, respectively, but she turned down the offer to retain her creative control.

Rachel will next be seen in Peter Jackson’s “The Lovely Bones.”

Robert is currently starring in “Little Ashes” and Hugh is reprising his superhero role in box office smash “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.”

Fans across the world celebrated Rob's 23rd birthday even without his presence.

Nikki Reed Will Be In Italy For 'New Moon' -- But Will Her Character?

According to her recent interview with MTV, Nikki Reed will be joining her New Moon castmates in Italy to shoot the famous Volturi scene in Montepulciano. But according to her, Rosalie's character won't come along.

"Put it this way: I am not in any of the scenes in Italy, but we've already made sure that I am going to Italy while they shoot that," Nikki Reed laughed, revealing plans to witness the Volturi firsthand. "Because I am sort of obsessed with that portion of the book."

As Twilighters know, Nikki's no-nonsense vampire Rosalie will check out of the film along with many other key characters once the Italian scenes begin. But Reed promised her fans that if you want Rosalie to be there when Alice and Bella rush to save Edward, well, she kinda will be.

"Basically [I'm just going to watch them shoot]," Reed said. "And also, it is a chance to be in Italy and pretend like it's a work [excuse]. I have to be there — because I am in the film, so it's really important that I go along."

Reed did promise us, however, that she won't be going to Italy with hopes that Weitz will see her on set and decide he might as well interject Rosalie into some additional scenes. "Absolutely not," she promised. "No. I feel so strongly about them sticking to the books.

"In fact, there was a scene in a very early draft of the 'New Moon' [script] that they had invented that was not in the books," Reed revealed. "And there was a discussion, and that scene is no longer in the script.

"I don't want to be in more of the movie just to be in more of the movie — and I think if they do that with any of the other actors that it is ridiculous, because I think that the only way that we can succeed is to stick to the books," she insisted. "If you are worried about how to please the fans, you will fail if you don't stick to the books."

My stomach was stronger back in the day. I could go for street meat any time. Then a couple of years ago, well, it changed. My intestines decided I was officially an old hag in her 30s and wouldn’t accept it. F-cker.

On set at New Moon today – Kristen is shooting interiors. Mostly the “depression” montages where Bella decides her life is worthless without Edward. Ugh. She sits by the window a lot and mopes. And has nightmares.

Also shooting with a different crew – most of the vampires in town are doing green screen work to complement footage that was complete over the last few days: fight sequences, some added stunts, something about a vampire getting his head torn off. More angles of Edward getting tossed around, against the wall, up towards the ceiling, and Alice unable to help him.

Here’s an added little bonus for you Pattinson fans: am told he’s been working out a lot lately. At the gym almost every day.
