According to E! Online, Rob and Kristen having dinner at Gjelina restaurant on Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice California on December 16 before heading to the opening of A.Kinney Court Sunglasses.

While everyone seems so hell-bent on having Rob hook up with the likes of Katy Perry (just because they're photographed at an event, please), a source spills to us that Robsten was dining at Gjelina restaurant on Abbot Kinney before scoping out the fab A. Kinney Court opening next door.

Says our insider who attended the party:

"Robert and Kristen were eating next door and peaked in the window after their dinner as the party was wrapping up."

We all know that Robsten likes to keep a low profile, so showing up to an event opening together where Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis and Olivia Wilde also were in attendance totally isn't their scene.

But the concept fashion boutique and eyewear store totally suits Kristen's chiller style, so we know why they would take a pause to check it out. Atta girl, you tell your man to make some time for window shopping!

"Kristen was wearing an old white T-shirt with her hair in a ponytail," our eyes tell us. "Rob was wearing jeans, a tee and a dark coat.

"It looked like they were on a nice stroll through the neighborhood. They seemed really just into hanging together."

So did R & K opt for some PDA since not too many people were looking?

"They weren't holding hands, but were really sweet with each other."

We all know that R.Pattz's night didn't end there. He went out to celebrate his friend Shannon Woodward's birthday at Dimples karaoke bar alongside Katy Perry.

Rob showed up around 11:15, plenty of time to drop K.Stew off where she needed to be. The A. Kinney opening ended around 10. Sweet that R.Pattz wanted to spare his truer emotions from the waiting paps he knew would be documenting his every move later on.

A spokesperson for Gjelina declined to comment about Robsten's romantic meal saying, "We wouldn't be able to tell you about that."

A rep for Kristen also kept mum saying, "We don't have a comment, but thank you."

We are stubborn and possessive

It was in a hotel in Paris, during New Moon promotion, that Rob gave us this interview. Shy and always ready to crack a joke (but still being professional), the star doesn’t give the impression that let fame go to his head. But something changed: the actor that plays the vampire that makes every girl fell in love with in two seconds needs an agent controlling everything he says in interviews. But he still talked to TodaTeen about rumors, filming, future projects and more.

It’s insane outside the hotel…

Really? For some reason France always seems to respond to the movie earlier. I was surprised when I came here. But it’s always nice, it’s crazy. I remember the first time I stayed in this hotel, everyone that worked here would say “that never happened before” about the crowd standing outside. It’s definitely an honor.

You also filmed some scenes in Italy. Was it crazy like that there?

It was nice, “warmer” that Vancouver. It was like shooting a different movie. There were about 2000 extras and most of them were fans. They weren’t even being payed, just wanted to be part of the movie. There was a lot of expectation, especially when important scenes were filmed. Those days were fun.

How was it for you to work with Chris Weitz after working with Catherine?

Chris is a very nice guy. I like him a lot, since the day we met. He came on the set saying “I really liked the first movie, I like the cast. You guys understand the characters more than I do. And that’s how I want to work”. It was nice of him to say that. He was making a sequel so he didn’t want it to be any different from the first movie. Chris has this energy which is totally different from Catherine’s. She is wilder and she has this very unique way to see things. Like, the idea of falling in love with someone… it happens that way, just like that. And Chris is more rational. He understands love in different levels. Like, with love comes fear and doubt. And sometimes you can’t control your fear. And this thought was perfect for the movie he was directing.

It’s something more mature, right?

Exactly! I think everything is more complex. I think that first love is something totally inexplicable, so that’s why it was good when Catharine noticed that. You don’t have to analyze, it just happens.

You’re not as much in this movie as you were in the first one. Did it make your schedule a little less busy?

(laughs) It’s true. I wanted to change a lot of things in my acting. It was nice not to have that much pressure on me because I could change things I wanted to change when I was acting.

Like what?

Like the character’s appearance and a lot of little things regarding my acting. No one is pressuring me telling me to do this or that, and they tell me things like “you don’t have to do everything like you did in the first movie. It just have to be successful and not change much”. That’s why I had more fun filming New Moon.

You talked about your acting. How did you grow as an actor?

One of the things I never understood in Twilight was why I was still in school. When you are 108 years old, you would probably be doing anything, except high school. That fact made me confused when I was acting. But once you finally pull that off… And even in the first scenes when he’s still in school it’s because he wanted to be near Bella. It’s an obvious reason to be there: he wants to be with her. But when Edward leaves and wanders through the world, it’s easier to me to get what he’s thinking.

How are you dealing with success and rumors?

(Robert’s agent stops the interview and says “he’s not going to answer any personal question, thank you”)
I’m lucky to always be in movie sets. You stay isolated so those things become irrelevant. If you stay busy all year, any kind of rumor won’t last long, especially when you’re filming every day. Everyone knows what you’re doing. And you can’t go to parties because you need to wake up at 4am. I think things become more complicated when you’re not filming. But the next time I won’t be working will be in a year. It will take a while for rumors to affect me.

When do you start filming Breaking Dawn?

I finished Eclipse… (his agent stops the interview again and says that nothing is scheduled. The movie still didn’t get the green light by the studio. Rob looks at him surprised and says “but I’m telling everyone…”)

Were you surprised to see Taylor’s muscles when you first arrived at the set?

He was different! I should go to the gym.

If there was a fight between Edward and Jacob, who would win?

Edward would win. At least, according to what I read on the book

What movies have you committed to in 2010?

I’m doing a movie called Bel Ami in February, which is an adaptation of a Guy de Maupassant novel. And, I hope I’m doing a Western with Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman, called Unbound Captives, sometime around there as well.

Those characters are very from Edward Cullen… Do you and Edward have something in common?

We are both stubborn and possessive of some things

In the magazine they say his answer to the BD question was “I’m filming Eclipse…”. I think that was a mistake, that’s why I took the liberty of correcting it.

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' trailer most viral video of 2009

Well, at this point, the trend is pretty hard to miss - The Twilight Saga: New Moon has undeniably become a pop culture figurehead feature of the year 2009.

Apparently, in the viral video viewings department, New Moon sits in the lead of viral sensations of 2009 - mostly joined on the top ten list by popular musicians for their music videos.

Flanked by mega-hits like Beyonce's "Single Ladies," Lady Gaga's "Poker Face," and even Suan Boyle's Britain's Got Talent audition video, the New Moon trailer took its rightful place as the most viewed viral video of 2009 with 592,049,402 views, according to Music Week.

Others videos on the top ten list for the year are Michael Jackson's "Beat It," Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body," Lady Gaga's "Just Dance," Miley Cyrus' "The Climb," and Soulja Boy's "Crank Dat."

The very first New Moon teaser, issued back in early summer during the MTV Video Music Awards, was notoriously one that hit up the viral circuit with millions of views coming in by the day.

Summit drops charges against woman caught taping "New Moon"

Looks like Chris Weitz was able to defend the woman who was reportedly caught video taping "New Moon" because Summit dropped the charges against her.

As you probably know, the charges against 22-year-old Samanth Tumpach have been dropped for illegally videotaping “New Moon” at the Muvico Theater in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont.

She was charged with a felony, and could have faced up to three years behind bars.

Tumpach admitted that two snippets of film were caught on her camera, but said she wasn’t intentionally recording “New Moon.” Instead, she was filming her sister’s birthday.

Even director Chris Weitz was in her corner. He told the Chicago Sun-Times, “There is, needless to say, a difference between trying to protect copyright of a film and making an unfair example of someone who clearly seems not to have any intentions towards video piracy.”

Well now Summit has weighed in, too, and released the following statement:

“In regards to the situation with Samantha Tumpach, we applaud Muvico for upholding the zero tolerance policy on piracy when the incident occurred at their theater in Rosemont, IL. The pirating of films is a very serious issue and we all need to remain vigilant to protect the art of film and the myriad of businesses that the film industry supports. We believe that the attention that this incident has drawn, has served as a reminder to us all that any form of film piracy, or perceived piracy, will be treated with the utmost seriousness. Summit is pleased that all charges against Ms. Tumpach have been dropped and appreciate the efforts of the police and the prosecutors in this outcome.”

A Chicago woman facing prison time for videotaping three minutes of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” has a new ally in her legal battle — the film’s director.

Veteran director Chris Weitz told the Sun-Times he’s dismayed about Samantha Tumpach’s arrest Nov. 28 at a Rosemont movie theater on a felony charge of illegally copying his new hit film, and he’s contacted the film’s studio about his concerns.

“Needless to say, the case seems to me terribly unfair and I would like to do what I can to address this,” Weitz wrote in an e-mail.
The 22-year-old Tumpach could receive a three-year prison term after being arrested on a rarely used felony charge intended to prevent movie patrons from secretly recording new movies with handheld cameras, then selling bootleg copies.

Tumpach, who spent two days in jail awaiting a bond hearing after her arrest, acknowledged there were a couple of short segments of the movie on her digital camera — though she contended she wasn’t trying to record the movie.

Instead, Tumpach told the Sun-Times last week that she was taping parts of her sister’s surprise 29th birthday party celebrated at the Muvico Theater — including her and other family members singing “Happy Birthday.”

The three minutes of footage she shot inside the theater, Tumpach said, also included film previews and ads, along with short segments of the film — and her talking about the camera and the movie.

“It was never my intention to record the movie,” Tumpach said. “You can hear me talking the whole time.”

Weitz questioned whether her arrest was justified.

“There is, needless to say, a difference between trying to protect the copyright of a film and making an unfair example of someone who clearly seems not to have any intentions towards video piracy,” Weitz wrote.

He said he had contacted the studio that released the film, Summit Entertainment, to express his concern about her arrest, but he acknowledged there’s probably little he can do to influence the outcome of her case.

“I am not sure what effect I would have on the case,” he wrote, noting “the film is, after all, not my property.”

Tumpach, who faces a court date Dec. 17, couldn’t be reached for comment. She said last week she considered the incident “a big thing over nothing.”

“We were just messing around,” she said. “Everyone is so surprised it got this far.”

Looks like even Vanity Fair Italy is recycling their stories about Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Gossip Cop contacted Vanity Fair Italy to verify the story that they published about Rob Pattinson saying the he's single. Well VF Italy told Gossip Cop that those interviews were months old. They also said that its a compilation of different interviews of Rob in in New York, at Cannes, and in Rome during the Italian promotional tour.

An interview with Robert Pattinson in Italian Vanity Fair has created a huge stir on both sides of the Atlantic.

Hundreds of outlets have zeroed in on a portion of the interview in which Pattinson says, “I am single… almost everything that came out about my private life is false.”

RadarOnline.com highlights the line and declares that it “clears up a few misconceptions about his life and loves in an interview with the magazine,” specifically that it torpedoes rumors of a romance with Kristen Stewart.

So is this – at long last – the final word on Robsten?

Well, allow Gossip Cop to “clear up a few misconceptions” about the interview itself.

We reached out to the Milan offices of Conde Nast (Vanity Fair’s publisher) and asked about the nature of the Pattinson cover story.

The magazine told us the article is actually a compilation of separate interviews (conducted by the same writer) in New York, at Cannes, and in Rome during the Italian promotional leg for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” They stressed that it was “not a specific one-on-one,” but rather a “mix of meetings” and interviews.

Most importantly, when asked about the “I am single” line, Vanity Fair told Gossip Cop Pattinson gave that specific remark during the Cannes Film Festival.

So sites trying to pass off the “newsy” tidbit as having anything to do with Pattinson’s relationship status are seven months off.

Robert Pattinson showed off some longer facial scruff while out in LA last night. He joined a few friends for a show at the Hotel Cafe bar, and word apparently got out that the New Moon star was there — he had to make a dash out to his car, but he took all the attention in stride and was laughing once safely in the backseat. He has managed to lay pretty low for the past two weeks, after arriving at LAX with Kristen Stewart just before Thanksgiving. She wasn't alongside Robert for yesterday's excitement, though their Twilight costar Taylor Lautner has been having some fun of his own out with Taylor Swift. Paramount has confirmed to me exclusively that it's hired 8-pack-abs Taylor Lautner for the lead in Max Steel, instantly creating perhaps the next young big action star. (The Twilight Saga phenom is only 17 years old, and the Summit Entertainment folks predicted to me a year ago that he'd end up in demand for this kind of role after he bulked up for New Moon.) This is the Joe Roth-produced project based on the hugely successful Mattel property that's an international bestseller. The movie will receive a major push planned as Mattel raises its stateside presence with the Paramount release. I'm told Max Steel will be a four-quadrant popcorn movie in the spirit of Iron Man about a 19-year-old extreme sports junkie recruited by a secret agency after an accident infects his body, leaving him with superhuman powers. The screenwriters are also young, Chad Damiani & JP Lavin, who started getting attention around town with their action-comedy script Kamikaza Love as well as Sons Of The Hammer and Capeshooters. This is yet another big young action star for the studio under Paramount Film Group president Adam Goodman along with the recent announcement that Chris Pine is attached to the Jack Ryan franchise from Tom Clancy. Then there's Shia LeBoeuf, whom then DreamWorks exec Goodman put in Disturbia which he was overseeing, and Paramount cast in the Transformers franchise. Smart to start the youth movement (Sony Pics did that with Tobey Maguire and Spider-Man), not just because the young-uns can play the part for years, but even better they won't break a hip doing it.

How did you prepare for your role?
Getting in to character was the first thing I needed to do and for that Physical fitness was the priority and my only concern. I remember, before Twilight, I never worried much about exercising my abs out, but for being Edward, I did every freaking thing possible. Regularly for 2-3 months, I ran for two hours daily and had a three-hour long session of kickboxing followed by hitting the gym for some weight training and abdomen crunches. In addition, I was on a stringent diet regime too. I was just trying to lose every ounce of body fat, so when I took off my shirt, I would look like an alien.

Are you enjoying all the attention that you are getting?
Before Twilight people use to complain about a lot of things in me like my chest hair and I must say post Twilight it’s about me wearing same clothes. I got more compliments over complaints though, when I heard people say, ‘He wears same clothes, wow that’s so cool and real.’ Actually, I don’t mind wearing what I have worn before; after all they are all my clothes I am wearing. It has got nothing to do with keeping the paparazzi away. I do not desperately repeat the clothes. It is just by chance and sometimes in shortage of time, in fact a couple of times while promotion. I guess people like me as I am. And yeah, I am enjoying all the attention I am getting, ’coz it was my choice to be an actor first. So whatever the results, I have to accept.

How do titles like – sexiest man alive, make you feel?
Who won’t like being called the sexiest person? Well, actually I don’t know whether I am sexy or not. How could I comment about myself? Ask others I guess. I am ok with such tags as far as there is no stereotyping. But yes, I would like to rename the title to The Sexiest Actor instead of just Man. After all I am an actor first.

Your favourite stars – male and female? Whose position do you envy? Who would you like to be?
Jack Nicholson in male, I always wanted to be like him since my childhood. I used to try and be like him in whatever I did. I copied his accent, dressed like him. I do not envy him but yes he was my source of aspiration I must say. Among favourite actresses, actually there are many but yes, Kristen Stewart has impressed me and the whole world, with her acting skills at such an early age.

You have flaunted your bare body a lot in the Twilight...
That was ’coz the character demanded it. In my opinion, it is the USP of Edward Cullen.

You have been linked up with a lot of women. Who’s your girlfriend?
I do not have any girlfriend and neither do I want one, considering the environment I am in now. I am only reading books and watching films always. I am quite a bore kinda person you know. If I’d have a girlfriend, why would I shy away from the media glare and letting my fans know?

Have you watched any Bollywood movies? Do you know any people from Bollywood?
No, I haven’t seen any Indian film yet. Though I have seen a couple of Hollywood films having an Indian touch and that’s where I see Indian actors and they are great-great performers. Names are hard to recall you know. Then this year’s Oscar showed us glimpses of Indian actors and India in Hollywood while Slumdog swept all the awards, so I guess it is needless saying how far the Indian cinema has come.

Have you been approached by any Bollywood movie makers for a film, except by Mira Nair for Vanity Fair?
Not yet, but I won’t mind working abroad if it is a good project and has some potential for me to perform as an actor instead of adding just a name. There is no reason though for this choiceBut at this time, I am too busy with my current commitments. And once these projects are over, I must look for a short break for making some music may be.

Any plans of visiting India? What do you know about this country?
Yes, I know in bits about India. Also the ongoing Indian and Hollywood associations have a lot to keep an eye on. Our actors are moving East and so is the Indian film industry moving here. Well it’s really good to have an exchange of cultures through the world’s strongest medium of communication, Films, which influences heterogeneous masses. Yes, I’d love to be there in near future, and why not? It is such a nice place. I went to Japan for promotion of our film, I wish I could have come to India too then. Apart from films, I know there is some real cool music in different genres and food that stirs the taste buds in India.

Just to be clear, I’ve got nothing against Robert Pattinson. Out of all the Twilight cast, he seems to take himself the least seriously, which is key when you’re known for playing a glittery vampire. Which is why I almost feel sorry for him when I hear he has to grin like a jackass and pretend not to be skeeved out by things like a tell-all documentary called Robsessed. The title alone makes me want to mix up a drain cleaner highball.

15.10 The Atrevida team has the idea of have me staying at the Grand Hyatt hotel, where the stars would give interviews over the weekend. My mission was to be very close to the couple snd get pictures and exclusive videos. What do I say to this?

16:34 Besides being a fan of the saga, I would be staying in a five star hotel, a whole weekend, following Kris and Taylor! The room reservation is made.

13.05 is “the day”! Before leaving home for the hotel, I see a site that says Kristen boarded the Los Angeles airport on Saturday night. She should be landing in São Paulo. Adrenaline rush!

14h I arrive to the hotel … I’m wearing normal clothes and I carry a bag, dressed like an executive. I do not want any security suspect that I am here to hunt vampires and werewolves (laughs). In front of the hotel there’s more than 30 screaming fans. But that’s no guarantee of anything, because I have to learn that perhaps they will stay in separate hotels to mislead the fans. I’m worried.

14:13 I check in, and ask for the receptionist if she knew about the commotion outside the hotel. She said it was because they were hosting a couple of famous stars. Yes! Now I am more relaxed: the wolf and the vampire are here!

14:20 I leave my bag in the room and go down to the pool with a folder – inside it I carry my laptop and my notebook-diary. I’m also carrying a camera/phone, if the moment requires some discretion.

14:25 The pool is full. But no or Kris Taylor. I look at the tables outside the restaurant and…

14:28 OMG! I think I stopped breathing… Kristen is sitting opposite me, eating salad! I have no doubt about it: pale skin and messy hair. I’m not believing it, it was too “easy”. Dude, THAT’S -SUR-RE-AL! The security staff it is looking at me, I think I was not very discreet … My legs are trembling, I need to sit … and shoot pictures!

14:30 I’m on the table in front of Kris. It was the best place I could find. I sat inside the restaurant. Between us there is a glass window, a curtain of shades, and some people who are following the diva. The security has stopped looking at me, but there are eight security guards around the actress. I’ll order something to eat while I record everything I see. John (her agent) is talking to her. He offers guaraná for Kris, and she accepts! A security guard is coming towards me, and is looking at my camera … Dammit! I’ll put it in the folder and expect him to be distracted. He left. I take pictures of Kris with my phone. Great! 14:40 She gets up from the table to get some sun near a garden. It is very hot, and I don’t know how she can stay in this sun while wearing a black sweatshirt. She lights a cigarette. The waiter returns with coconut water for everyone. She throws the cigarette out and sits at the table. She smiles, after the first sip. Must be cold and delicious! Where’s Taylor? Is he having to lunch in his room? I take a stroll by the pool.

15h Some girls are on duty here. All are looking at Kristen. I think they are also staying at the hotel … (Just to remind you: the daily cheapest costs $ 600!)

15:30 Wow! Taylor appears out of nowhere to talk to Kris! He’s wearing a shirt and sunglasses. When one of the fans recognize them, she points and yells at him. The wolf runs off to safety to the elevator. Get back here! No one got a picture of him. Kris gets up and calls the fans, to sign autographs and pose for photos! It is now that I’ll take more pics of her.

15:34 I’m among six fans and eight security guards. Kristen is smiling a lot, and talking to all the fans. One of them has the New Moon book and ask her to sign it (definitely Kris is thenicest celebrity I’ve ever met!). She takes off her sunglasses to take photos with the fans! How cute! The fans are kind of shy, it’s very funny. But I’m also very nervous. I’m taking as many pictures as possible. Now, I’ll make a video of Kris with the fans. One of the security guys will not stop sticking his hand in front of my camera. Get out of here, let me be happy!

15.40 The security guards are asking us to let Kris leave. She goes back to her room. I am amazed by her warmth and beauty. She said “Thank you” to us, nobody said anything, everyone is speechless. Her skin is beautiful, her eye color is the most amazing thing: a mix of green and blue … That afternoon was the craziest! Now she is waiting for the elevator, puts an unlit cigarette in the corner of her mouth, and enters the elevator. She gives a bye-bye to us. I’ll be on duty in the corridors of the hotel.

19h It’s already dusk, and Kris and Tay remain in their rooms. A maid tells me that the 20th floor is closed just for them. Inset: the two are in a presidential suite, and each one costs $ 10 thousand, daily! Here are six elevators for guests, and one is scheduled only for Kris Taylor and use. They are too powerful! I’ll try to get them to walk the stairs.

19.20 It doesn’t work. I run into a security guard, and I have to go back.

23:13 I have just discovered that there’s some sort of celebration among the actors and crew that is following the pair. They all went to a steakhouse. A photo of Taylor with the waiters from the grill was released later. Envy! I even saw them leaving the hotel! Later that night, “my friend maid” says the two have returned from dinner and went to sleep.

02h It’s dawn and I’m out here. There’s more than 50 fans camping outside the hotel. There are people from everywhere: Recife, Rio de Janeiro and Paraná. Now I need some sleep …

07h I go get some breakfast. It’s amazing how many fans are staying at the hotel. Paying to be able to stay close to the couple. Today there are over 30! An official here says there were tons more rooms for reservations after a post in a fan blog said they really were staying here.

11h John, Kristen’s agent, is waiting for the elevator in the lobby. All fans recognize him. I run to photograph the encounter. He’s even nicer than Kris! He takes gifts from fans to deliver to the actors. The mother of one of the fans is the translator of the crowd in conversation with the agent.

12h I just find the reporter of Atrevida, Marina Oliveira. She is waiting for the moment to interview Kris (alone!). The photographer Atrê, Luciano Munhoz, is showing me the pictures he just took of the actors. They were beautiful, they are very stylish!

15.30 I’m nervous! I’m waiting for Kris and Taylor leave the conference in front of the treadmills and suddenly I see some 100 fans out there, coming through the glass wall of the hotel! They can break through the blockade of securities, and are trying to break into the lobby … what a madness! The last time I heard of salary negotiations done by a group of actors instead of just one actor was during the time of the hit sitcom "Friends" where all six of them negotiated a whopping $1 million per episode salary. With the success of the Twilight franchise, it's no surpise that Rob Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart will be doing the same thing, especially now that there's a possibility of making "Breaking Dawn" into two movies.

So what's the deal with the Breaking Dawn contract negotiations? That's the hot Twilight question of the moment. The simple fact that Breaking Dawn exists means Breaking Dawn will get made after so much money poured in from Twilight and New Moon. The rumor of spiltting Breaking Dawn into two parts may be a hold up to any official announcement since it's likely Pattinson, Stewart, and Lautner had contract options for four Twilight Saga films.

From our point of view, although no official word on Breaking Dawn has come down the pike, the two part split of Breaking Dawn is beginning to make the most sense. It's a safe bet to say that by the time Eclipse rolls around, with even more Twilight Saga attention on the stars than there is now, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will be itching to move on to other projects beyond the Twilight Saga. Shooting Breaking Dawn back-to-back will allow Summit Entertainment to extend the Twilight Saga in theaters while the stars move on new projects as they get older in the same manner as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

According to HollywoodInsider, "New Moon" is expected to earn $17 million this weekend, trailing behind Sandra Bullock's movie "The Blind Side."

It’s a rare box-office treat when a film that has been in release for two weeks is destined to hit the number one spot at the box office. But The Blind Side has been a surprise since it debuted opposite New Moon two weeks ago to a solid $34 million and then did the unthinkable, which is gain 18% of its audience its second frame. Now the Sandra Bullock-starrer has earned a robust $105 million and is destined for a number one slot this weekend. It helps that the weekend following Thanksgiving is traditionally a slow one in theaters. Hollywood usually turns it over to the malls and its shoppers. But that bodes well for the holdovers. New Moon is likely to tumble again significantly its third weekend in theaters, but with $236 million already in the bank, another steep drop is to be expected. There are four new releases vying for placement at the box office derby but the only one with a real chance for the Top 5 is Screen Gems’ PG-13 rated heist flick Armored. Neither the Robert De Niro-starrer Everybody’s Fine nor the Tobey Maguire-Natalie Portman-Jake Gyllenhaal three-hander Brothers is likely to crack the top five. It’s interesting that both of the Oscar bait pictures Fine and Brothers are being released wide this frame. Conventional wisdom would suggest they’d open small and expand. Read on for my predictions.

1. The Blind Side: $24 million

The Blind Side is likely to hold in well this weekend and a 40% drop would put its total domestic gross at $130 million, quite a feat for a movie that cost $30 million. This feel-good tale from director John Lee Hancock (The Alamo) is resonating particularly well with audiences in smaller markets. The combination of football and charity seem to be just what they ordered this holiday season.

2. The Twilight Saga: New Moon: $17 million

New Moon is destined to cross the $250 million mark this weekend, trouncing Twilight’s total domestic gross with room to earn more. That’s another remarkable story for a film that sparks such deep emotion both for and against. It’s no wonder Summit is pondering two films with Stephenie Meyer’s final book Breaking Dawn. With this kind of cash, why would they ever stop?

A woman named Jordan Scott filed a law suit against Stephenie Meyer for reportedly stealing the storyline for "Breaking Dawn" from her book called the "The Nocturne." Unfortunately, the judge wasn't on her side.

A judge slammed competing vampire author Jordan Scott, claiming her accusation that Meyer ripped off a book called "The Nocturne" was "deceptive" -- not to mention completely unfounded.

As TMZ previously reported Scott alleged the wedding, consummation and birth scenes in Meyer's book "Breaking Dawn" were suspiciously similar to scenes from "Nocturne" -- but the judge ripped Scott, saying she had "twice manipulated aspects of the subject works in order to create the appearance of similarity."

MTV Suggests on how to make "Eclipse" great for audiences

MTV.com makes a couple of suggestions on how to make "Eclipse" a film for everyone and not just for Twilight fans.

Amp up the Bella and Edward romance
"Twilight" established the potent romance between Bella and Edward, but "New Moon" sacrificed much of the chemistry for the sake of Bella's growing bond with Jacob. Granted, the reason why Edward was mostly absent during "New Moon" was because he broke up with Bella and was moping around in an apartment for months on end, but Chris Weitz forgot to reestablish why exactly Bella and Edward were so in love. With "Eclipse," we hope David Slade explores their connection, especially with so many fans jumping ship to Team Jacob after seeing Taylor Lautner's abs.

Expand the secondary characters
Even though Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are the biggest draws for most fans, secondary characters like Anna Kendrick's Jessica, Mike Welch's Mike Newton, Dakota Fanning's Jane and Michael Sheen's Aro were key to some of the most fun parts of "New Moon." "Eclipse" introduces a whole slew of new characters (Riley and Leah, anyone?) and we hope some of the old favorites aren't sacrificed for the new, especially with Anna Kendrick's potential Oscar win for "Up in the Air." Plus, there's the fact that the scenes in which Bella interacts with humans (like her father, played by Billy Burke, and the high school students) are some of the most interesting and well-acted in the series thus far.

Make the fight scenes more action-packed
Yes, we understand that a lot of care went into making the CGI werewolves in "New Moon," and thank goodness the fight scenes in the second "Twilight" installment were better than the first, but the final battle in "Eclipse" is the most action-packed part of the entire "Twilight Saga." With David Slade's previous vampire film "30 Days of Night" under his belt, we can expect some intense action, but we'd like to remind him we want to see some newborn vamps being torn limb from limb anyways (and not just in slow motion).

Make the film more appealing to a non-"Twilight" audience
There are a lot of elements in "Eclipse" that could attract an audience not made up solely of Twilighters. In "New Moon," there was no effort spent on setting up the story from the previous book or explaining why Bella and Edward are so in love. "Eclipse" was the book that made Stephenie Meyer's vampire series what it is today, and hopefully "Eclipse" the movie will break the film series out to a larger audience as well.

Have fun with it
Some of the best parts of "New Moon" were when screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and director Chris Weitz let loose and had fun with the film. "Face Punch," anyone? (This I consider a stroke of genius. I expect a "Face Punch" movie poster for Chanukah.) Flying Virgin America to Italy? Jessica's commentary on zombie films? If "Eclipse" doesn't take itself too seriously and doesn't hold itself too close to the book, it could turn out to be not only a great movie for "Twilight" fans, but a great film in general.

We might first remember him as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. But even back then, Rob Pattinson has something in him that you will always remember. His co-stars from the Harry Potter set agree that he's very cool to work wth.

TWILIGHT Saga: New Moon star Robert Pattinson’s Harry Potter co-stars Matthew Lewis and Bonnie Wright, who play Neville Longbottom and Ginny Weasley, say he was “very out there” but “cool” to work with.

Robert Pattinson, who starred in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with Bonnie Wright and Matthew Lewis, was “very funny” on set and kept the cast laughing.

Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom, said: “He’s doing incredibly, I haven’t spoken to Rob in about three years but I remember when he was on the film and he was a great guy to be around, he was very funny and he was very out there but he was cool. I think he’s still got my Guns ‘n’ Roses CD… if he’s watching this, I want it back.”

And Robert's fellow co-star Bonnie Wright, who plays Ginny Weasley, says the Twilight Saga: New Moon star has been left “speechless” by his fame.

When asked if she wishes she had asked him out before he was a global superstar, she told 3am: “Yeah maybe I should have foreseen where he would go and cling on!

“No, I think when we were all in that fourth film we were pretty young still. I think for him it’s been pretty sudden and amazing and he’s still quite speechless about it.”

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe recently said he thought Robert is "coping well" with his new-found fame.

He said: "I haven't spoken to Robert since we saw each other at the opening of a gallery three years ago.

“I wouldn't have any advice, he seems to be coping well…We've been sort of exchanging advice through journalists, bizarrely.”

Rolling Stone sat down with "New Moon" director Chris Weitz about movie's wildest stunts, the loyalty of Team Edward and the scenes you won't find in Stephenie Meyer's original book.

You said everyone's been asking you about the pressures of taking on such a successful franchise, and they also want to know why vampires are so popular.
Honestly, there weren't really any pressures for me because there was a guaranteed audience which meant that even if I made a terrible movie people would still watch it. So once you got that reassurance [laughs], you just set out to make the best movie possible, which is what we aimed to do. And I've felt nothing but support from the fans since day one — actually day one there was a little doubt because I have a Y chromosome, but ever since then I've felt a lot of love from the fans.

And why vampires?
I've actually realized that Stephenie Meyer's vampires aren't really vampires — you really don't see many crosses, there's not much garlic, they don't sleep in coffins, they can go out in the day time — they just look more beautiful. It's just more like Greek gods. So, in some ways it's about this girl who falls in love with this demi-god. I think that symbolizes your first love — the person you've fallen for who you think will never never possibly return your affections.

How much did you research vampires before starting the movie?
Absolutely zero. My research is reading Stephenie's books and talking to Stephenie and seeing the first film and knowing about the actors — getting familiar with the work that they'd done, but not much vampire-ology.

I read that you had this idea about the movie looking like a Victorian narrative painting in terms of the colors — how did you come to approach this film from that angle?
In terms of a model for cinematography I think it's a good one, which is to say the Victorian paintings, especially the pre-Raphaelites, told stories in a somewhat sentimentalized and very beautiful fashion. These books are not afraid to be sentimental or romantic and I wanted every aspect of the production to be unafraid to go to a very romantic place.

Whereas the first movie had a lot of tortured rock & roll kind of love to it, I wanted this one to be a sweeping epic. In many ways it's a much bigger film — in terms of the ground it covers, the emotions and the places it goes to — so I really wanted to make a classic-looking movie that was classically composed and classically shot. It had a classical score in a sense and [composer] Alexandre Desplat is very much from a school of composers who can work very much in a classical vein and in a contemporary vein. There is a sort of groovy component to it, which is the soundtrack, which we were able to get all of these amazing bands to compose for us, which is incredibly gratifying. Read more

As she stated, "It was just the hardest subject matter I've ever had to deal with - I play a very broken young girl who is a runaway. She's a street kid. She's working in a strip club and James Gandolfini's character is just as dead inside as she is - and they wake each other up."
Here's the synopsis of "Welcome to the Riley's"

Doug Riley and his wife Lois have been living a half life since their daughter Emily was killed eight years ago. Doug has coped by having an affair with Vivian, a waitress. Lois has struggled, harbouring a secret and devastating sense of guilt for her daughters death. She has withdrawn into herself and hides away from the outside world, relying on hairdressers who make house calls, her sister, Harriet, and the local pastor.

When Vivian dies, Doug is lost. On a business trip to Baton Rouge he finds himself at a crossroads. And in a strip club. A 16 year old lap dancer Mallory offers him extras in a private room. He turns her down but goes home to her run down apartment and makes his own proposition. He offers to pay her $100 a day if he can stay for a while, get his head together. No sex. No strings. Doug rings Lois and tells her he isnt coming home.

He and Mallory settle into a certain kind of domesticity although Mallory wandering around naked and offering sex are a little off-putting!

Helpless on her own, Lois, a woman previously unable to make it the 20 yards to the mailbox, realises she will have to take drastic action if she is to save her marriage. For the first time in 8 years, and after a couple of failed attempts, she manages to reach her car and start driving, headed south.

Back in Louisiana, Doug tidies Mallorys apartment and then sets about trying to clean up her life. Shes an underage hooker after all.

Lois, paper bag at the ready to save her from hyperventilating, makes slow but steady progress. When she finally arrives to find her husband living with a foul-mouthed young hooker, Lois is, predictably, horrified. But, like Doug before her, she is taken with Mallorys similarities to Emily. Lois moves in. And the three of them form an unusual family unit. But Mallory soon bridles at the attempts to mend her wicked ways. Shes not ready to be anyones surrogate daughter just yet. Sparks fly.

After she is beaten up and hospitalised by a client, Doug and Lois rush to Mallorys bedside. They are asked what their relationship is to the girl. Only family are allowed in after all. Lois hesitates. Then declares that she and Doug are her parents.

Doug and Lois are finally re-united. Lois admits to Doug how their daughter died and he finally understands why she has been so consumed by guilt. The weight of the last few years are finally lifted from her shoulders and life seems like it is coming back together

But Mallory isn't about to complete the pretty picture just yet. Shes a teenager after all.
