“Til Schweiger is searching actress for Twilight movie
Actor and producer Til Schweiger starts a new castingshow “Mission Hollywood” at 8th of june on RTL.
This wednesday the tv station informed us that they are in search for a new role in one of the sequels of Twilight.
Twelve ambitious female young talents are going to fight for a part in the movie. The show runs eight episodes.
The young women train with professional coaches e.g. film kisses, action stunts or dance moves, to re-enact scenes from blockbusters like Dirty Dancing or James Bond.
RTL also said that they are going to work with famous actors, oscar-winning make-up artists and well-known moviemakers.
During the casting they will have to fight for roles e.g. german tv series “Doctor’s Diary”, american tv series “Bones” or new music vid from Lady Gaga.
At the end of each episode Schweiger and jurors decide which candidate has to leave the show.
The 2nd juror is acting-coach Bernard Hiller, the 3rd juror changes in each episode. (e.g. Carmen Electra, Thomas Kretschmann,…)
Schweiger told us that he always wanted to found an acting academy. “Mission Hollywood” would be the first step towards this idea. He will be juror, presentator and director. But first of all, he sees himself as a mentor for the girls, who’s trying to teach them, to give them self-confidence and to be a caring guide. “
