Twilight DVD Bites Into Record Books

After selling over 3 million copies on its first day alone, the Twilight DVD made its way onto the record books as one of the top five best first-day DVD releases in the past two years. There's also a video coverage of Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Rachelle Lefevre at the Kitson shop in West Hollywood.

The Robert Pattinson adulators were out in full force Saturday for the highly anticipated midnight launch of the film's home video release, buying up more than 3 million copies of the special-edition double-disc on its first day alone.

In addition to silencing any Twilight-fatigued critics, the overwhelming sales haul helped the film enter the record books as one of the top five best first-day DVD releases in the past two years, joining the esteemed company of fellow blockbusters Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, The Dark Knight, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Transformers.
